Agriculture Extension & Adaptive Research Wing of Agriculture Department, Government of the Punjab has announced 634 jobs of Field Assistant through Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).

At its website, PPSC has announced 634 posts of Field Assistants with following quotas:

• 65 posts reserved for Special Person Quota
• 32 posts reserved for Minority Quota
• 454 posts reserved for Women Quota

Job Type: Contract basis for the period of 05 years

Job Requirements / Eligibility

Qualification: Minimum qualification / experience required for the job of Field Assistant is as follow:

1. Matric with Science (Second Divison) from a recognized Board
2. Three (03) years Diploma in Agriculture Sciences (DAS) from a recognized institute
3. Experience is not mandatory

Gender: Male, Female & Transgender
Age Limit: 18 to 30+05=35 years (Male) and 18 to 30+08=38 years (Female)
Domicile: Only Punjab domicile candidates are eligible to apply.
Place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab Province

How to Apply

1. Deposit Rs.600/- under Head: "C02101- ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-TEST FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION", in any Branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury on or before the Closing Date.
2. Then apply online at PPSC website http://www.ppsc.gop.pk by submitting "On-line Application Form".

Note: Speical Persons are not reqired to deposit application fee.

The last date to apply for Field Assistant is 16-09-2019 up to 12:00 AM (Midnight)

Syllabus for Exam / Test

One paper MCQ type written test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. Its Syllabus is as under:

1. 80% qualification related questions
2. 20% General Ability includes General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies.

Field Assistant Salary

Field Assistant gets salary of Basic Pay Scale 11 along with other allowances as admissible to other government employees. The salary is calculated in accordance with Government Employees Pay Scales
