Pakistan Military Accounts Department
Pakistan Military Accounts Department (PMAD) is an attached department of Ministry of Defence, Government of Pakistan; mainly responsible for audit of the accounts of Pakistan Army and its sub-divisions. PMAD has a well established internal audit mechanism in the form of Local Audit Offices functioning under the Controller of Local Audit (Defence Services). It has offices all over Pakistan.
Senior Auditor Jobs in PMAD
PMAD Pakistan has recently requested Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to recruit Senior Auditors against one thousand & seven (1007) vacancies. FPSC has advertised these posts on its website on 01.02.2019 under Case No.F.4-59/2019-R (2/2019).

Type of Jobs: Temporary, likely to become permanent.
Requirements for Senior Auditor Jobs
Minimum Qualification / Experience: Second Class or Grade "C" Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Finance/Accounting) / Commerce / Economics/ Statistics / Mathematics or equivalent from a University recognized by HEC OR ICMA Operational Level Certificate from ICMA after Graduation.
Senior Auditor Age Limit: 20-28 years plus five (5) years general relaxation in upper age limit.
Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure
FPSC adopts following procedure to recruit Senior Auditor:
- Written Exam 100 marks (20 marks English & 80 marks subject based).
- Interview of candidates who pass out their written exam.
- Finally FPSC sends its recommendation list of the successful candidates to the PMAD for their appointment against the posts.
Previous Exam of Senior Auditor: While last recruitment of Senior Auditors in 2016, the paper had questions of English, audit & accounting, and general knowledge
Training: Before posting of fresh Senior Auditors in field offices their training is conducted as prescribed by the government.
Job Responsibility of Senior Auditor
A Senior Auditor is to conduct the audit of accounts of Pak Army and submit his/ her report therein; making sure that all expenditures are lawful and no violations are made.
Salary / Benefits of Senior Auditor Job
As per Government Pay Scales in Pakistan, the salary of Senior Auditor is around Rs.45000/- per month plus government residences at place of duty.
Career Scope of Senior Auditor
Senior Auditor is eligible for promotion as Audit Officer (Basic Scale - 17) after 05 years service. He/ She is further eligible for promotion as Senior Audit Officer (Basic Scale -18) after 05 years service as Audit Officer.

Open merit posts are those against which any body fulfilling the criteria may apply. Military Accounts Department has 72 Senior Auditor posts out of 1007 against which qualified aspirants domiciled in any province of Pakistan are eligible to apply.

The criteria for open merit is based upon marks of Test and the Degrees acquired by the candidates. There is no thresh hold of marks as such. It depends upon number of posts available and candidates appeared.
sir I wanted to ask if there is any other way of getting promoted rather than waiting for five years?can any candidate get a promotion based on knowledge experience or any other way??and I also wanted to ask about the pay if anyone will arrange his own living at the place of duty,will his pay be increased in this way??sir please please reply to my queries I shall be very grateful to you.
Promotion is governed under the Service Rules of any post. No other way is possible. The pay is not increased on arranging of living place; for this purpose, House Rent Allowance is given in Salary.
