Job Description

The Career Services Office at FCCU is seeking an Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager of the Career Services Office is responsible for assisting with the smooth operation of the office by facilitating students, graduates, and guests with their inquiries. The Assistant Manager will also track job vacancies and will be responsible for managing the details and publication of ongoing projects, events, workshops, seminars, and assignments.

Responsibilities:
Prepare regular reports, collect and analyze research data relevant to career planning and placement of students and alumni
Handling & Creating all Career Services office publications i.e. newsletter, career fair brochures, student profile book, flyers, Career Services, and Internship page on the website, etc.
Promote office to students, alumni, and employers through a variety of marketing efforts
Provide career planning assistance through individual appointments, online assistance, and regularly scheduled group workshops
Engage freshman and sophomore level students in relevant workshops regarding professionalism and resum development
Assisting in coordinating Career fair, NGO networking Fair, Internship/Job Recruitment Drives, volunteer sessions, and proactive support in all Career Services & Internship related activities as assigned
Reviews the on-campus recruitment and interviewing processes as well as resume referral and job-listing services for current students as well as alumni
Assist in communication with Deans, Department Chairs, and faculty members
Alumni Placement tracking university program wise
Coordinate meetings with new contacts from external organizations for the purpose of expanding employment opportunities for students and alumni
Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Head of Career Services Office

Position requirements:
Minimum Education & Experience:
16 years equivalent education (in Social Sciences, Statistics, Business, Psychology or Computer Science) with 4 years relevant work experience
18 years equivalent education (in Social Sciences, Statistics, Business, Psychology or Computer Science) with 2 years relevant experience

Skills:
Good Computer competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Oral, Written, and Reading Comprehension
Oral and Written Expression
Demonstrably strong writing, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines
Work well with a diverse group of people including students, faculty, and industry representatives
