WAPDA Opens Golden Opportunity for Children to Make Career in Sports

WAPDA Endowment Fund for Sports, A Company setup under Section-42 of the Companies Act, 2017, has announced an opportunity for children between ages 12 to 16 years who want to make their career in sports.

Those boys who are interested in athletics, hockey, karate, squash, tennis, weight lifting, wrestling likewise girls interested in athletics, hockey, karate and squash and their date of birth is between 01.01.2004 and 01.01.2008 and they want to lighten the name of country in sports' field are invited to reach at 09:00AM with requisite documents at nearest sports station according to the schedule mentioned below:

Phase I

First trial (general fitness test) will include the following exercises:

Phase II

Boys/ girls, who took the Phase I Test and passed successfully, will have to pass Sports Specific Test of their choice from one of the following games:

  1. Athletes (100 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters)
  2. Karate (35 kilogram, 40 kilogram, 45 kilogram and 50 kilogram)
  3. Wrestling (45 kilogram, 50 kilogram, 55 kilogram and 60 kilogram)
  4. Weightlifting (45 kilogram, 50 kilogram, 55 kilogram and 60 kilogram)
  5. Football and Hockey (have to play 30 minutes matches)
  6. Tennis (under 14 and 16)
  7. Squash (under 14 and 16)

Phase III

Finally, successful players will be enrolled on regular basis.
