National Literary Prizes 2014 Awarding by Pakistan Academy of Letters

Pakistan Academy of Letters is awarding prizes to the best publications in prose and poetry genres i.e. novel, short story, essay, travelogue, biography, humor, satire, criticism, research, ghazal, poem etc. in Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashtu, Balochi, Siraiki, Brahvi, Hindku and English language that are published for the first time in the designated period from 01 January, 2014 to 31s December, 2014. Furthermore, best translated books in Urdu or English language from any Pakistani or international language will also be considered for such prizes. However, compilations, edited or set versions of books will not be considered for such prizes. Year of publication printed on the book's print line shall be considered final. Hand written year of publication or any certification issued from the publisher will not be accepted. Authors, poets, critics, researchers and publishers are requested to send details or four honorary copies of the books published during 2014 to Pakistan Academy of Letters by 31 March, 2015.
Books received after the due date will not be considered for prizes.

Publishers or authors who have submitted theirs books already are not required to send the same books again.
Note: Decision of judges regarding prizes shall be considered final and no legal action will be acceptable after the announcement of prizes.
