CSS Exam will be Conducted in Urdu from 2018 Onward - Lahore High Court

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered that CSS Exams (Central Superior Services Examination) will be conducted in Urdu language from 2018 onward.

On a petition filed by Advocate Saif Ur Rehman, The LHC in a written judgement ordered Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to conduct CSS exam in Urdu.

In his decision on the petition, Justice Atir Mehmood has ordered that the examination should now be taken in Urdu language in line with the Supreme Court of Pakistan's decision last year.

LHC remarked that due to shortage of time, it was not able to implement the order for CSS exam 2017 which are due to be held in next month. However the examination should be conducted in Urdu from next year.
