Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Assistant in Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
You will provide HR related support for the section of Operations Office in Human Resources.
Specifically you will be responsible to:
Process and prepare terminal benefits forms, letter of resignation acceptance and contract conclusions as per authority matrix for further processing.
Prepare final settlement of retiring employees for further processing
Prepare service letters as per requests received.
Ensure that information sent for completion of Online Exit Checklist to respective departments for departing employees.
Review receivables of departed employees.
Ensure timely sending of probationary period performance appraisal forms to department and issue confirmation letters to employees on or before their confirmation due date.
Process statutory payments (EOBI and SESSI) on monthly basis and ensure its deposit in the bank on or before the stipulated dates.
Ensure timely communication to female employees about their eligibility for EOBI pension.
Liaise with EOBI office for matters related to submission of EOBI claims and pension.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent; those pursuing MBA will be given preference.
Minimum one to two year of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of HR practices and processes.
Proficient in MS Office.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Have aptitude for and interest in numerical work, and related analysis, and ability to handle large data.
Ability to work under pressure and to work in teams and diplomatically handle difficult and sensitive issues of employees.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
