Job Description

Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Technician, Outreach Pharmacy.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
perform manual and technical tasks which include drug labeling, delivery, distribution, replenishment & charging, storage etc.
maintain drug expiry records of all the available drugs in pharmacy.
assist the storekeeper in the store inventory management as and when required.
perform sterile and non-sterile compounding as per applicable standards.
perform store inventory management (under supervision), supplies receiving, RTV, GRIN processing, SPR and replenishment request to vendors, expiry and lot control, indent and transfer note.
ensure inventory management (critical list, transfer notes, negative balance, indent checking & placement, perpetual, lot & expiry control, FIFO (first in first out) & arrangements etc.)
manage expiry management & replacement with fresh stock.

Requirements:
You should have:
an Intermediate (preferably Pre-Medical).
1 - 2 years Hospital or Medical Store Experience.
manual dexterity to handle heavy items.
ability to read English.
knowledge of drugs dosage forms.
