Technician, Home Based Palliative Care - Karachi, Pakistan

Job Description

The Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Technician for Home Based Palliative Care.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
provide safe and quality individualized nursing care to patients homes
conduct thorough head to toe assessment of patients
assist in physicians and nurses in specific procedures
educate patients and their families, as per their needs
evaluate results of nursing interventions on assigned patients and modify nursing care by reassessing patients health status
report incidents on a timely basis.

Requirements:
You should have:
Matriculation with Science background and Intermediate in any discipline
completed certification as Technician or an equivalent training from a reputable institution
preferably one year of relevant experience
good interpersonal skills and knowledge of basis patient care needs
ability to handle stressful situations and meet stringent deadlines
willingness to work in shift duties.
