Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Supervisor (HVAC)

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for operation & maintenance of compression, AHUs, refrigerators, freezers, chillers, cooling towers and ancillary associated Equipment and supervision and guidance to subordinates in the jobs and provide assistance to Engineer in daily planning of work.
Specifically, you will be responsible to:
Plan, execute and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance Programs of heating, ventilation and HVAC equipment and machines in an effective and efficient manner to achieve max. Uptime of equipment.
Supervise breakdown maintenance jobs to ensure that it is carried out as per established standards meeting the performance goals of MEP Department.
Responsible for trouble shooting and inspection of all heating, ventilation and HVAC equipment, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and refrigeration machines to minimize down time.
Coordinate with end user for their feedback to facilities maintenance work.
Plan and arrange material requirements from store or warehouse for carryout preventive plant maintenance and breakdown jobs.
Training of staff on trouble shooting, safety and good engineering practices in HVAC systems.
Ensure safety at work in all respects.
Any other related task as assigned by Engineer.

Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in HVAC.
7 - 9 years of related work experience including 2 3 years of supervisory experience.
Sound technical knowledge of operation of chillers, heating ventilation, HVAC equipment.
Knowledge of Electrical controls preferred.
Good communication skills in Urdu and English.
Supervisory skills.
Proficient at the use of computer programs /maintenance management system.
