JOB OPPORTUNITIES
The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry
Policy Advisory Board of FPCCI has the mandate to provide research-based support to FPCCI Members, Standing Committees and Joint Business Councils/Chambers to undertake research, analysis, policy advocacy on macroeconomic, industrial, agriculture, energy, taxation/tariffs, ease of doing business, and trade policies. Policy Advisory Board solicits applications for the following contractual positions (3-Year) - with a 6-Month probation period (inclusive). Applicants with expertise in statistical and econometric software like R, Stata, EViews, SPSS will be highly preferred for the following positions.

SENIOR ECONOMIST (1)
Ph.D./M.Phil.in Economics from a reputable university with a major in macroeconomics, international trade, industrial economics, public-sector economics or development economics.
Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience working on macroeconomic framework, trade and industry with academia, government, private-sector organizations or think tanks; with research preferably on macroeconomic indicators, frameworks, trade or industrial economics-related issues; including at least 5 research publications in HEC-recognized journals on industrial economics, energy or international trade-related topics.
Must have strong leadership and analytical skills, be result oriented with ability to lead and develop teams, strategize work, developing policy documents, and to compile research-based strategy papers for the Board.
