PRINCIPAL, COLLEGE OF MEDIA SCIENCES
SUMMARY:
Ziauddin College of Media Sciences is looking for a dynamic and results oriented candidate for the position of Principal.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide academic leadership to the College.
Act as the focal person for the planning and execution of all activities related to the College.
Manage and retain high-quality staff and faculty.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including other departments, faculty and senior management.
Collaborate with the directors and production team to schedule programmes and event coverage and assess the content of broadcasts including design.
Supervise and coordinate activities of film and TV, Communication Design. Journalism and Digital Marketing. Enhance student experience by blending both theoretical and practical approaches to learning.
Manage day-to-day operations and provide relevant support to the staff. Implement College's academic policies and ensure adherence to it.
Develop and meet the goals while adhering to approved budgets.
QUAUFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
PhD or a Master's in a relevant field of Media Sciences from a reputable University.
3-5 years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of department processes.
