Job Description

The Aga Khan University Hospital invites application for the position of Instructor, Radiology.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for variety of task including:
providing accessible, compassionate, ethical, evidence based, and patient centered care to all patients in the Radiology set-up.
conducting radiological clinical sessions on campus and/or off campus (If needed).
supporting the residency program and participating in the teaching of residents.
managing both common and unfamiliar problems with such proficiency as to be accepted by the peers for consultation and seeking help where needed.
formulating the objectives of a course and appropriate instructional strategies, teaching effectively.
conducting research in the area of interest in radiology.
providing on call coverage , participating in additional ultrasound clinics and following departmental assignments.

Requirements:
MBBS degree and valid PMDC license.
Successful completion of structured Radiology Residency program from a reputable institution, and either possess or be eligible to undertake FCPS Part II examination or equivalent. Preferable to have passed FCPS or equivalent.
Excellent teaching and training skills.
Excellent radiological skills. Ability of, when to seek help.
Ability to empathize with patients.
Ability to satisfy and retain patients in Radiological practice.
