Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Engineer - Quantity Surveyor (Civil) .

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
survey the site to check for existing defectsconditionsif any, before the commencement of construction work
review construction drawings and Prepare Tender Documents including BOQ
prepare a list of material for timely procurement
measure/estimate building and material cost/quantities for project
find alternative methods,products and supplies for the project that are cheaper but retain the quality in case the required design cant be implemented and recalculate cost if the design or material changes
check contractors monthly bills and certify progress payments for contractors and suppliers
review and conduct rate analysis for submitted VOs
verification of Bar Bending Schedule and delevoping Engineers Estimate
prepare material reconciliation statement
providing assistance for managing the cost on the construction project to ensure that the project is completed under projected budget
prepare statement of final account according to the actual cost of the project.

Requirements:
Bachelors of Technology (Civil)
7 to 10 years of related work experience in construction activities
well verse with project management and constructions executional work
be able to read construction drawings and other Contract Documents
supervisory skills, verbal and written skills in English & Urdu.
