Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is part of the Universitys Women and Child Health Division, which deals with the continuum of maternal, fetal and child health issues.The department offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services for women including high risk obstetrical care, infertility, foetal assessment, routine obstetric, reproductive endocrinology, gynaecological oncology and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of routine gynaecological disorders. It also offers a four-year residency training programme.

Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include to:
proof-read all the documents which is intended for communication to a larger audience internally, different forums or publicly
ensure that quality and editing follows high standards, including the organizational standards and protocols
maintain social media profiling for the department
edit high volumes of qualitative and quantitative reports
conduct workshops on writing skills to train the departmental resources.

Requirements:
You should have:
a Master's degree, preferably in English, English Linguistics, Mass Communication, Media Sciences or equivalent
at least one year of relevant experience
excellent command over MS Office package
resilience and ability to cope-up with work pressure and meet stringent timelines
excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
excellent editorial and report writing skills
willingness to work on extended hours and travel nationally on need-basis.
