Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Driver.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for a variety of task which includes:
driving institutional owned vehicles for picking up and dropping of staff, taking them off-campus and delivering parcels as per shift duties assigned in the duty roster.
overall cleaning and routine maintenance of assigned vehicles.
conducting minor repairs, if required and report to the supervisor immediately.
ensuring strict compliance of dress code by keeping them clean and tidy at all times.
performing driving duties for official and VIP caterings.
loading and unloading all the incoming and outgoing food commodities (day-to-day supplies).
carrying out routine cleaning of various section of storage areas (i.e. dry store, walk-ins and beverage storage area).
disposing off store waste material (i.e. packing cartons etc.) in the designated areas.
transporting food trolleys and assisting in physical arrangements.
Requirements:
Matriculation with 2-3 years of related experience. OR
Not-Matric with minimum 3-5 years of related work experience.
LTV driving license acquired at least 3 years back.
Ability to read and write English and Urdu.
Knowledge of traffic regulations, vehicle repair and city locations.
Have a respectful attitude towards supervisor and colleagues.
Physically fit to drive for long hours.
