Job Description

The Aga Khan University Hospital provides application for the position of Diet Aide.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for a variety of task, which includes:
cleaning work areas, patient trolleys, refrigerators, pantry areas and maintaining tray line and surrounding areas in sanitary conditions as per cleaning schedules;
ensuring that all cutlery, crockery and serving utensils are un-chipped and are sufficient in quantify for smooth patient tray line operation;
ensuring that patient related consumable items i.e. fruit, bread, feed formula etc. are available in sufficient quantities on daily basis;
ensuring effective compliance of all patient related systems documentations which are in practice and properly signed by the immediate in charge;
ensuring that all type of charge slips are prepared accurately and signed and correct prices are entered.

Requirements:
Intermediate with 4-5 years of related experience. OR
Matriculate with 5-6 years or Non-Matriculate with 7-8 years of related work experience with institutional/five star hotel/health care facility culinary and food service.
Able to understand the diet menu and hygiene protocols.
Familiar with the table and Ala-Carte service system.
Ability to operate large dish-washing machine system and possess the knowledge of utensils cleaning agent.
Respectful attitude towards supervisor and coworkers.
Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures.
