The Department of Medicine at The Aga Khan University Hospital, comprises of independent sections of Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, and Pulmonary & Critical Care. The department has over 70+ full-time Faculty with a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency Programmes are offered in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Adult Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Nephrology and Dermatology, as well as Fellowship Programmes in Clinical Neurophysiology & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Interventional Cardiology and Infectious Diseases.

Responsibilities:
You will have an independent consultant status and undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and specified administrative activities.
You will serve as Hospitalist physicians whose primary professional focus is the general medical care of hospitalized patients. In which activities includes; patient care, teaching, research, and leadership related to Hospital Medicine.

Requirements:
You must have completed a structured postgraduate training program from a reputable institution and possess FCPS, MRCP, American Boards or equivalent qualification. Applicants for Assistant Professor should have at least 2 years experience as Senior Instructor or equivalent. Demonstration of scholarship through research, publications and/or contribution to education is also required.
Applicants for Senior Instructor post require to have at least one years post-graduation experience from a reputable institution. For Hospitalist position preference will be given to candidates having successful training in Adult Critical Care Medicine from a structured postgraduate programme.
