Civil Engineer - Dubai, UAE

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction and infrastructure projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to local regulations and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering projects including roads, buildings, and infrastructure
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
Monitor site work to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards
Liaise with contractors, architects, consultants, and clients
Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to the construction team
Resolve project-related issues and implement corrective measures
Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and environmental standards
Prepare reports and maintain project documentation

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 3-5 years of experience (UAE experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal guidelines
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and engineering software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS)
Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills
Must be familiar with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other local authority processes
UAE Society of Engineers registration (preferred or required by employer)
