Our Qatar business stream is currently looking for an experienced QHSE Manager who can maintain and grow the current business including a department of some 28 staff and assist with continuous improvement as we grow.
Assist Regional Manager and lead implementation of QHSE and Sustainability actions in Qatar operations.
Coordinate with Group QHSE Manager for developing and implementing Quality & HSE policies and procedures in Qatar operations.
Ensure that Quality & HSE activities are in continuous compliance with local laws, regulations and Group standard requirements.
Up-date and advise the Regional Manager and Group QHSE Manager on new and upcoming National regulations that can influence or change HSE Performance and management systems.
Monitor, collect and analyse data on Quality & HSE activities and ensure all regulatory and internal reports for Quality & HSE related activities are updated and submit as required.
Work alongside Operations Manager in distributing and supervising HSE Officers to sites and working operations.
Conduct safety audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazards and risks & also conduct Quality and HSE trainings for employees.
Conduct internal quality and HSE management systems audits and ensure compliance.
Investigate HSE incidents and report to the Regional Manager and Group QHSE Manager.
Organize safety meetings, Quality & HSE management review meetings as per the management systems requirements.
Coordinate and lead fire drill activities, escape drills etc
Oversee training and equipment calibration management and review needs.
Always ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
You will directly report to the Regional Manager & functionally report to the Group HSE Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT AND EXPERIENCE
NEBOSH - Professorial Qualification
IOSH - Professional Qualification
OHSA - Professional Qualification
Occupational H&S Degree (preferable)
Confined spaces
Proficiency In CDM Regulations
Lifting Supervisor
Lead Auditor (ISO 45001, 14001 QA 9001) - preferred
Minimum 10 Years QHSE experience - preferably in Middle Eas
