Role
Prepare and solicit request for quotation, enters quotes, makes purchase orders
Manage and update price agreements and approved vendors list
Participate in negotiation of contract terms and to monitor performance against contracts
Develop and maintains a variety of logs, contract files and records pertaining to contract-related issues
Set & monitor inventory stock levels.
Initiate cost reduction projects as per set goals
Manage the import and export of raw materials and overseas orders from outside Qatar as well as the logistics & freight shipment companies
Sound knowledge on bank documentation and procedures such as guarantees and letter of credits
Important Criteria
At least 4 years' experience in similar role in Qatar
Must have a valid QID and transferable Visa
Have Qatari driver's license
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or other related discipline.
