In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the business in relation to the development and maintenance of specialist operational systems such as PTRMS, PRISM, Qloud, AIMS, TOPS and SharePoint.
This will include managing user access rights, updating and maintaining reference data, carrying out audits on systems, and working alongside project teams in the enhancement of such systems. You will also providing training and guidance to end-users as required.
Specific Accountabilities include:
Under the direction of the Operations Systems Specialist, carry out routine system management tasks, ensuring all underlying reference data, user data and permissions, configurations and rules are set-up, configured and working correctly to enable the correct functioning of systems
Assisting in the system testing and User Acceptance Testing by conducting tests, in accordance with test scripts, to ensure that new releases, patches or developments are fit-for-purpose and work as per design
Under the direction of the Operations Systems Specialist, conduct troubleshooting by replicating and trying to correct reported defects or problems. Suggest corrective action if possible or escalate for further investigation liaising with vendors/IT to resolve
Carry out audits on system data and content, in particular with regards to eDocs and PTRMS to ensure records are stored and processed correctly and meet QCAA requirements
Ensure departmental SharePoint sites are built, maintained and updated as per business requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree qualification preferably in IT or business administration combined with at least four years of relevant experience. Experience in an operational systems support role is required. Knowledge of airline operational environments would be well regarded. You should have the capability to analyse basic data and technical information in order to effectively trouble shoot and resolve issues related to system performance. You should have strong attention to detail, good command of the English language, and strong organizational and prioritisation skills along with the ability to work effectively within a multicultural team environment.
