Accountant - Payroll - Doha, Qatar

Job Description

A Qatar based Oil and Gas Services company with an excellent work environment needs self- motivated, energetic, ambitious, hardworking personnel for the following position:

Position # 1: Accountant - Payroll
Education & Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce

Responsibilities:
- Reviews and ensures accuracy of approved Payroll workflows such as salary and leave advances, end of service benefits, medical claims and other expense claims
- Reconciles general ledger accounts, audits and analysis of operational data every month to guarantee accuracy.
- Responds to payroll inquiries and requests by employees and other internal and external users of payroll data.
- Investigates payroll discrepancies, and resolve any payroll related issues

Skills & Competencies:
- Good communication skills (Verbal & Written) and very good interpersonal skills.
- Good with computers.
- Willingness and knowledge to spend long hours in front of computer system feeding and analyzing data.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Good Commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Must be under family sponsorship
- Job location will be in Wukair

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role
