The Government of Punjab has embarked upon a revolutionary initiative of computerization of land records in Punjab province for bringing about a qualitative change in the lives of people. The overall objective is to improve service delivery and to enhance the perceived level of tenure security. Punjab Land Records Authority has been set up through PLRA Act-2017 under the administrative control of the Board of Revenue, Government of the Punjab.
To enhance the capacity of Department, Punjab Land Authority through its Administrative Department Board of Revenue (BOR) has requested PPSC to recruit 589 Service Centre Officials. PPSC has announced these job at its website and through newspapers dated 22.12.2019.

- A/ B.Sc./ B.Com/ BCS/ BIT/ BBA or equivalent (2nd division) form a recognized institution.
- Minimum typing speed of 30 W.P.M. on computer.
- Three months Certificate/ Diploma in IT application.
Note 1: Preference will be given to candidates with at least 01 year experience in Data Entry and having basic working knowledge of computer applications.
Note 2: For MCS, BCS, BCS (Hons.), MIT and BIT, 03 months diploma in IT Application is not mandatory.
Note 3: Certificate / Diploma in IT Application only acceptable from recognized/ registered institution.

PPSC Exam Procedure
PPSC takes following steps to finalize the recruitment of Service Centre Officials:
- Usually PPSC conducts one paper comprising of 100 marks to shortlist the candidates.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for Interview.
- Finally PPSC sends its recommendations in respect of qualified candidates.
How to Apply
Firstly, deposit Rs.600/- under Head:"C02101- ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-TEST FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION", in any Branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury on or before the Closing Date of submission of applications.
Then apply online at PPSC website http://www.ppsc.gop.pk by submitting "On-line Application Form". Applicants should fill in the On-line Application Form carefully in the light of the Guidelines and Instructions mentioned in the Advertisement.
Closing Date: Candidates may apply on or before 06.01.2020 up to 12:00 AM (Midnight).
Syllabus of Paper of Service Centre Officials
One paper MCQ type General Ability Written Test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration comprising Questions relating to General Ability including General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim Candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Skills.
NOTE: Candidates are informed that choice of Written Test/ Interview mentioned in column 31 of online application form will not be changed after the closing date. Therefore, all candidates are directed to select the choice of center carefully.

Post is being offered on contract basis. An estimated salary is Rs.30000/- per month.
