Job Description: PRODUCTION MANAGER
Location : Sohar, Sultanate of Oman
Education: (B.Tech/BE) Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 7+ years of experience in the Steel Fabrication Industry
Key Responsibilities:
Active participation, Developing and Leading the Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, Sub Contracting, and Despatch departments.
Responsible for complete planning and production process.
Preparation of monthly production plan, monitoring, and obtaining maximum throughput
Assigning jobs to engineers, workforce, and responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly output.
Planning of raw materials, Machineries, Manpower etc. based on production plan.
Controlling manufacturing costs within the given budget.
Preparation of daily reports and MIS. Maintaining status of all pending jobs up to date.
Single point contact to the customers from order intake till delivery.
Follow-up with design / drawing departments for drawings, BOM, and Nesting.
Responsible for maintenance teams' activities and preparation of preventive maintenance schedule.
