The Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Senior Medical Officer to be assigned in COVID ICU to play their part for the Community in the fight against the pandemic.
You will be responsible to:
work under the direct supervision of Consultant Intensivist
work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and high quality patient centered care
undertake clinical responsibilities as a team leader and supervise junior physicians working in critical care area with multidisciplinary team, including on-call
co-ordinate with other team members involved in patient care
show commitment in research, education, and quality assurance in area of practice
supervise junior trainees in procedures
ensure attendance in weekly meetings, daily ward rounds and education sessions including presenting cases as required.
You should have:
MBBS degree
3 to 5 years of working experience in critical care in a reputable tertiary care center
FCPS I and completed training in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesia; ICU experience is preferred.
a valid license from Pakistan Medical & Dental College (PMDC)
expertise in ICU procedures (airway, invasive lines etc.) is preferred
good communication and interpersonal skills
willingness to work in shift duties.
