Job Description

The Aga Khan Hospital, Hyderabad invites applications for the position of Radiographer.

You will be responsible for:
position Xray equipment at proper distance and angle from patient body to present clear and undisturbed view
selecting proper film and insert into holder as per standard procedure
performing diagnostic x-ray procedures on patients as prescribed by clinicians that observed prescribed safety procedures
determining proper voltage, current and desired exposure time for each radiograph
developing film and check quality as required
repeating exposure procedure from different angles as prescribed by physician
scheduling patients for x-ray procedures if required
maintaining equipment by cleaning and making minor adjustment (if required) and report to supervisor in case of any fault or breakdown
ensuring proper working of the radiation-monitoring device and take responsibility for any loss or damage to the device.

You should have:
Intermediate Science
one year Certified Radiography course from a recognized institute.
preferably 2-3 year relevant work experience
good working knowledge of diagnostic x-ray and operation of equipment used
knowledge of judging film quality, patient positioning, film developing, supplies handling and general record keeping.
good communication skill in Urdu and English.
good interpersonal Skills
