Medical Officer, GI & Surgery Service Line - Pakistan

Job Description

GI & Surgery Service Line manages patients with a variety of acute and chronic surgical and medical conditions related to General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Gastroenterology. Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient facilities including general and intensive care are available for surgical and gastrointestinal patients. Moreover, our Endoscopy suite provides diagnostic/therapeutic endoscopic procedures to both ambulatory and inpatients.
Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Medical Officer, GI & Surgery Service Line.

You will be responsible to:
Perform pre-operative evaluation of the patients
perform post-operative management of surgical patients
document the above in a timely manner and communicate appropriately with the patients and their families
provided comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of faculty
remain updated on infection control procedures, standard protocols & clinical practice of the hospital.

You should have:
an MBBS degree
at least 1 to 2 years of experience in clinical settings
a valid license from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council
good communication and interpersonal skills
willingness to work in shift duties.
