Our client is seeking a high-caliber, results-given leader with a proven track record for the opportunity outlined below:
Head of Supply Chain:
We are seeking an experienced leader to develop and execute strategic procurement and contract management frameworks, ensuring cost optimization, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation for the organization. This role drives techno-commercial analysis, supplier negotiations, and business innovation while managing all contracts with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders to maximize value and operational efficiency.
Qualification & Experience:
Engineering Graduate or MBA from a reputable foreign or local University (recognized by HEC). Minimum 15 years of experience in the supply chain with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role at the departmental and organizational levels.
Skills & Competencies:
Procurement expert skilled in planning, contract negotiation, and supplier management. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and negotiation abilities, proven leadership, and excellent communication. Experience engaging with government agencies, OEMs. and strategic partners, along with solid business and financial acumen, is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Formulate a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, ensuring resilience, sustainability, and competitive advantage.
2. Oversee procurement planning and execution for equipment and services critical to operations.
3. Identify, evaluate, and engage reliable local and international suppliers. Lead strategic negotiations and manage contracts to secure cost-effective, high-quality supplies while mitigating risk.
4. Implement effective inventory control systems and ERP solutions to maintain balanced stock levels, avoid shortages, and reduce excess.
5. Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to local and international regulations.
6. Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on market intelligence and analytics.
7. Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing cost structures, identifying alternative sourcing channels, and developing long-term procurement roadmaps.
