Job Description

The Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health aims to support the introduction, scale-up and further piloting of high quality and high impact interventions to improve Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MNCAH) in Pakistan by harnessing the potential of both public and private sectors, coupled with introduction of women and girls empowerment intervention.
The Data Management Unit is responsible for providing data management and computing support to the wide range of community and clinical research projects throughout the department. The unit has longstanding experience in data management of various research projects. The core areas of activity include designing and archiving Case Report Files, data entry and management programming, data analysis, GIS mapping, IT and computing support.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to analyze and interpret data from research projects, prepare descriptive tables, check the data for inaccuracies', data cleaning and management, and report results of statistical analysis. Specific responsibilities include to:

report results of statistical analysis including information in the form of graphs, charts and tables
responsible for data processing for accurate relocation, formatting, generating and transmitting required data
responsible for making statistical model selections, experimental design, design and analysis of clinical trials
prepare statistical contribution to Integrated Study Report
develop project analysis plan, including computer generated table specifications, statistical analysis plan and research report format
use statistical techniques and models to forecast results, trends and needs

Requirements:
You should have:
a Masters degree in Statistics, Data Sciences or equivalent
at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in public health or a research organization
excellent command on SPSS, STATA and other statistical packages
proficient in spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
sound knowledge of data base management and computer programming
strong verbal and written communication skills
