Job Description

Project Research & Public Relations Manager (PRPM) in Centre for Public Policy and Governance
Last date for application: Saturday, May 7, 2022
CPPG is looking for a self-motivated professional who can enhance Centre's think tanks functions through project development, public & alumni relations and academic support. Moreover, the candidate will also be responsible for coordinating alumni association and departmental events.

Responsibilities:
Think Tank Functions - Research Support
Keep all Project's (CPPG) Institutional Requirements on file & updated
Keep abreast of new Request for Proposals (RFP) & coordinate with faculty
Coordinate & facilitate proposal writing
Coordinate development of short courses & training led by faculty
Coordinate Teaching Assistants & Students' Academic Involvement
Coordinate development of Student Thesis Poster
Public Relations & Marketing of CPPG at Corporations, NGOs and Government departments.
Executive MA: Presentations for Admissions
MPhil: Develop Internship program
MPhil: Presentation for Admissions at various universities & colleges
Distribution of CPPG Publications - bookstores/distributor
Inter-university coordination
Coordinate Alumni Association
Be point of contact for Alumni relations
Keep Database up to date - contact, professional engagement. Make Database digitally available to faculty
Coordinate yearly event
Develop Advertising Campaign

Position requirements:
16 years equivalent education in Public Policy or Social Sciences with 8 years relevant work experience in public relations, network development and effective communication skills and understanding of social media platforms
18 years equivalent education in Public Policy or Social Sciences with 6 years relevant work experience in public relations, network development and effective communication skills and understanding of social media platforms

Skills:
Strong background in research and academic support
Demonstrated potential in writing grant proposals, and establishing collaborations
Excellent written English and communications skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Self-starter who can work effectively in a diverse team
