Required Laboratory Assistant - Chemistry

Minimum Education and Experience:
16 years (Hons) of education with specialization in any field of chemistry, relevant experience will be an added advantage.
14 years of education with at-least 2 years of relevant work experience

Skills:
A candidate is expected to have excellent interpersonal qualities and standard professional work habits of punctuality, responsibility, hard work, initiative, and creativity.

Job Purpose/Summary:
This Position will be responsible to provide assistant and maintenance in all lab activities such as teaching, research, etc.

Responsibilities:
To assist instructors in conducting lab activities, making all necessary arrangements in advance for laboratory class, including preparation of solutions and reagents, and making ready the required apparatus and glassware.
Assisting students in performing their lab activity.
Maintaining the laboratory and keeping it up-to-date for lab activities.
Upholding safety in the laboratory as per standard procedures.
Any other job assigned by the heads of department.
