Position requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience:
14 years equivalent education with 5 years of relevant work experience
16 years equivalent education with 2 years of relevant work experience
18 years equivalent education with preferably some relevant experience
Skills:
Knowledge of Information Technology systems and services
Possess pertinent computer skills and effectively use them to perform assigned duties
Maintain confidentiality
Work independently, organize and prioritize work, respond to varied/changing work demands and make decisions as required
Proficient verbal and communication skills
Multitasking and result-oriented approach
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Job Purpose/Summary:
Liaison between the ITS department and all other departments (both Administrative and Academic) whilst ensuring that all technology related needs are promptly and effectively addressed.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating all campus-wide technology related needs.
Preparation, submission and regular follow-up (effective communication) of Purchase Requisitions of the IT department.
Ensuring timely IT reporting of all services provided
Ensuring timely reporting on the status of the ITS Budget for the year
Attending phone calls/ requests/inquiries and handling them appropriately
Occasionally work during evenings/weekends
Any other duties assigned by the Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Manage the operations of all offices under the ITS Department by acting as a liaison between them and other departments.
Maintain accurate data to track IT services provided campus-wide.
Maintains and improves document management for all offices under the IT Department (inclusive of inventory, equipment provision logs)
Assist to manage the IT telephone communications office (inclusive of addressing complaints, preparing monthly intercom list)
