Hostel Gatekeeper (Residential Life) - Lahore, Pakistan

Job Description

The Gatekeepers primary responsibility is the safety of the residents through ensuring that only those living and working in the hostel are allowed entry and that all residents are accounted for during curfew hours.

Position requirements:
Minimum Education & Experience:
Preferably 10 years equivalent education with preferably 5 years relevant work experience

Skills:
Punctual
Has integrity and ability to work independently
Ability to be fair and consistent in dealing with students from a variety of backgrounds
Should be able to lift heavy things if and when needed.
Responsibilities:
Maintain records of signing in and signing out of hostel residents.
Work closely and collegially with the other staff members
Observe timings of residents and notify guardian if any resident is not present in the hostel at curfew
Learn security policies and enforce them
Notify appropriate people in case of emergencies (guardian, security, 1122 etc.)
Other responsibilities assigned by the Hostel Guardian
