The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP / Institute) is an autonomous body established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961. It is in the process of establishing a new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Supervision Department to help fulfill ICAP's role and responsibilities as a Self-Regulatory Body for Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CET). Moving ahead in this direction ICAP is looking to induct bright and energetic individuals for the following positions:

DEPUTY MANAGER - ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) SUPERVISION DEPARTMENT (KARACHI)

Key Responsibilities and Role Specifications
Deputy Manager AML Supervision Department will assist the Head of Department in managing the AML / CFT supervisory activities of the Institute and in ensuring effective execution and implementation of the Institute's AML / CFT supervisory mechanism in line with the AML Framework issued by the Institute. The ideal candidate should be a Professional Accounting Affiliate (ICAP) or Member of any other Professional Accountancy body with at least 1 year experience of working in the AML / CFT compliance function of an AML / CFT Supervisor or a financial institution. He / she should have understanding of Pakistan AML / CFT legislation, FATF Recommendations and International AML / CET practices. He / she should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, both oral and written and effectively lead meetings with external stakeholders.


Shortlisted candidates will be required to go through the Institute's selection process.
