Position requirements:
12 years equivalent education with 5 years of relevant work experience
14 years equivalent education with 3 years of relevant work experience
16 years equivalent education with preferably some relevant experience
Candidate with a good background work experience in handling tech equipment are encouraged to apply too.
Skills:
The candidate should have IT background and must be able to maintain the computers
Help students with their queries and problems, so that they can comfortably manage their work.
Self-management skills with the ability to manage tasks with priorities.
Good interpersonal skills.
Basic IT troubleshooting skills related to both hardware and software.
Basic documentation skills for recording and reporting IT related technical issues.
Experience of working with smart classrooms is desirable.
Job Purpose/Summary:
Audio Visual (AV) Technology Assistant requires to manage and maintain AV technology and systems on campus, so that faculty, staff and students are supported to optimize learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities (but are not limited to the following):
To manage the AV technology in smart classrooms, computer labs, learning and other administrative spaces.
Ensure proper maintenance of AV technology across campus.
Make sure that all the safety procedures are understood and followed correctly.
Other duties assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Provide basic training to faculty on using AV technology and IT related hardware across campus and provide technical assistance to faculty and staff.
Perform basic troubleshooting of AV technology and IT hardware.
Report technical issues to ITS department in a timely manner.
Supporting the digital signage across campus.
Maintain good and professional relationship with faculty, staff and students.
