We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring the premises, identifying potential threats, and responding swiftly to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
Patrol assigned areas regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
Report suspicious behavior or incidents to management and/or authorities.
Operate surveillance equipment and security systems.
Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
Write and submit detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities.
Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role preferred.
Good knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety.
Familiarity with report writing and surveillance systems.
Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for long periods.
Excellent observation and communication skills.
