Required Instrument Procurement Engineer
Responsibilities
- Global Sourcing of Electromechanical instruments used in the Offshore Oil & Gas ,Petrochemical Industries & Drilling Rigs.
- Preparation of Techno-Commercial offers & Order execution.
- Reviews Client's technical documentation and requirements.
- Prepares the technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions and performs the technical evaluations.
- Reviews instrument data sheets & design documents like drawings ,P&ID's.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree with specialization in instrumentation or mechanical engineering
- 3-4 years Min experience as instrumentation/ procurement engineer in Middle east oil and gas industry.
- Global Sourcing experience in the oil and gas industry (onshore & offshore), Well head system & Drilling equipments.
- Brand & Market Knowledge of Instruments & Valves, Pumps & compressors.
- Good in Supply chain Management process & project Documentation
- Knowledge with Engineering Standards such as API, NFPA, ASME, NEMA, IEC, BS/EN, etc.
- Computer and Internet research savvy is a must; Proficient with MS Office Applications and Software
