Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CCTV Operator to monitor and operate our closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in security or law enforcement, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor CCTV systems: Monitor multiple CCTV cameras to detect and deter criminal activity, identify security risks, and respond to emergency situations.
Record and review footage: Record CCTV footage and maintain accurate logs of all activity. Review footage as needed to investigate incidents or resolve security concerns.
Communicate with law enforcement: Notify law enforcement authorities as needed in the event of criminal activity or other security concerns.
Maintain equipment: Perform routine maintenance on CCTV equipment, including testing cameras and other components, cleaning lenses, and replacing parts as needed.
Train security staff: Train security staff on the use of CCTV systems and proper security procedures.
Ensure compliance with regulations: Ensure that all CCTV operations are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including privacy laws and data protection regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience as a CCTV operator or in a related field, such as security or law enforcement.
Knowledge of CCTV equipment and software.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
