Job Description

Knowledge of Shipping And Clearing Process in UAE.
Basic Knowledge of Tally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent Communication Skills Written and Verbal (fluent in English)
Proactive and well organized, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Can work under pressure
Must be a team player
Able to draft letters and correspondence and filing of documents
Familiarity with office management procedures
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters etc.)
Sensitivity and understanding
Flexible and open to change
Customer service skills

Shipment Tracking & Arranging required approvals for clearing
Constant follow ups and coordinating with clearing agents
Preparing, organizing and storing information in paper and digital form
Dealing with queries on the phone and by email
Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking rooms
Arranging post and deliveries
Assisting staff regarding document issuance
Taking minutes at meetings
Managing documents (E.g: MSDS, Certificates) related to the operational activity
Updating computer records using a database
Printing and photocopying
Maintaining office systems
Liaising with suppliers and contractors, Sending Emails
Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR, accounts.
