About your Job:
The Manager Training and Development is responsiblefor developing and implementing Training and Development strategy that aligns with business goals and builds a sustainable learning culture within Qatar Duty Free.
The role is also responsible for taking the lead on a variety of projects and on-going activities to enhance individual, team and organisational performance through Training and Development initiatives. The role will implement innovative and practical development initiatives that will ensure Qatar Duty Free is fully equipped to achieve business results
You would also be involved in :
Strategically lead, develop and implement training and development solutions aligned to Qatar Duty Free vision and objectives.
Lead and embed the 70:20:10 philosophy across Qatar Duty Free through sustainable learning and development initiatives that engage and empower the workforce.
Lead and manage the design and development of the QDF Learning Academy, development solutions and programs to meet Qatar Duty Free people/business needs based on organisational objectives, TNA, best practice and research.
Develop robust processes and workshops to onboard, welcome and induct new employees in an effective and engaging way.
Facilitate training programs to a world class standard, using adult-learning and learner focused techniques.
Lead and manage the design and delivery of innovative solutions that support the embedding and transition of learning into the day to day workplace behaviours.
Utilize coaching techniques to improve leaders and managers performance based upon an agreed action plan.
Develop an appropriate budget for the year, monitoring costs to ensure they stay on track.
Evaluate effectiveness of development solutions to measure return on investment (ROI) and business impact.
Work across a range of cultures and adapt L&D to ensure it is engaging and value adding.
Partner with HRBS to design and deliver leadership and management development solutions in line with business strategy and role competencies.
Create and implement mechanisms that collate feedback and performance trends and conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with key stakeholders to ensure that solutions deliver the right focus
We are looking for candidate's holding a minimum of 8 years of job related experience with a Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level with a formal accreditation in training.
Candidates with the below qualifications will be given preference:
CIPD / IITD qualified will be an advantage.
Recognized coaching qualification.
You should also have experience in designing and facilitating Training and Development Programs for Middle and Senior Management related to Travel Retail / Retail, preferably be experience in one or more of the following disciplines: organization development, humanpsychology,organizational effectiveness, or coaching.
