MARINE SPECIALIST REQUIRED.
Marine Specialists, previously known as Rig Move Masters/Marine Representatives/Warranty Surveyors, are required to attend onboard Offshore vessels in the Middle East in order to monitor the vessels movements, and the anchor deployment/recovery within an offshore oilfield/operations area Their primary responsibility is to maintain the safety and integrity of the Operators surface and sub-sea assets, as well as the safety and integrity of the offshore Unit itself, along with all personnel.
The requirement is for candidates who have experience in the following capacities as Rig Move Masters/Marine Representatives/Warranty Surveyor on board DP Construction and Pipelaying Vessels, DP Diving/Support Vessels, and conventional Pipelaying and Construction Vessels using anchors (none DP), Command experience on board Anchor Handling/Towing Vessels which have been employed in the movement of Jack-up Drilling Units, Semi-Submersible Drilling and/or Pipe/Cable Lay Units, and Pipelay and Accommodation Barges.
Also required are candidates with Command experience on board Self-propelled Jack-up Units Candidates for the available posts must meet the following requirements:
Hold a Masters 11/2 Certificate of Competency, without Limitations.
Command Experience with at least three years sea time on board AHTS vessels, or Self-propelled Jack-ups, as well as two years sea time on board any of the vessels listed above in the capacity of Rig Move Master/ Marine Representative/ Warranty Surveyor.

- A Full DP Certificate
- H2S Awareness Certificate
- Valid Offshore Survival Certificate + HUET
- Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
Offshore experience in the Arabian Gulf, on the Bombay High or in the China Sea is desired but not essential. Offshore experience gained in the North Sea and Offshore Canada is considered a definite asset.
The ability to adapt and work with multi-national crews/personnel is essential.
