Applications are invited for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Contract: 3 Years (extendable for 2 years)
Reports to: CEO | Location: Islamabad
Islamabad Club seeks a qualified and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the Club's finance function, safeguard its financial integrity, and provide the insight that supports sound decisions and the Club's long-term financial sustainability.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the overall financial strategy of the Club.
Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and laws.
Manage member billing, subscriptions, receivables and recovery of outstanding dues. Manage cash flow, treasury, investments of Club funds and banking relationships. Establish and maintain robust internal controls over F&B, rooms, stores, sports and event revenues; liaise with the external auditors and the Head of Internal Audit.
Ensure full tax compliance (income tax, sales tax on services, withholding) and all statutory filings.
Provide financial analysis and MIS reports to the CEO, Finance Committee and Board, including departmental profitability and costing.
Lead, develop and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
EDUCATION
Qualified Chartered Accountant CA, ACCA, ACMA or CPA as mandatory qualification. MBA (Finance), in addition to the above, from an HEC-recognized university shall be considered as additional advantage.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience, of which at least 5 years as CFO, Finance Director or Head of Finance.
Experience in hospitality, a members' club or a not-for-profit organization will be preferred.
Working experience with ERP/hospitality accounting systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Opera or similar).
TERMS OF CONTRACT
Appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of 3 years.
The contract may be extended for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance. The position is purely contractual and not regularizable; the appointee shall have no claim to regularization or permanent employment.
