Our client, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), is an integrated energy company established in 1974 as a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. At present, PARCO owns and operates over 2000 kms of pipeline network, Pakistan's largest and most modern refinery, marketing, distribution operations and has formed Joint Ventures with renowned international companies and conglomerates. The Company is continually following an aggressive growth strategy and has planned expansions and penetration into new markets. The company is in the process of further consolidating and reinforcing its management team to proactively prepare to meet future challenges by inducting following senior professionals.

MANAGER MATERIALS
The candidate should possess a Bachelors in Engineering plus an MBA / Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain with at least 15 years experience of procurement, material and contracts management preferably in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical or fertilizer industry with at least 5 years as Head of Supply Chain. Exposure to financial control tools including forecasting and budgetary control is essential. The candidates must have sound knowledge of local laws, rules and regulation and should have excellent negotiation and leadership skills. Materials / Supply Chain experience with working knowledge of ERP Systems is required. The age should not exceed 50 years.

Responsibilities: Management of company wide Supply Chain function including local and foreign procurement, contracting, warehousing, inventory management, shipping, customs clearance, etc. The incumbent will also be responsible for formulating strategies, policies, procedures and procurement planning, contractor / vendor and supplier relationships. The incumbent will be interacting with all relevant Government departments.

The position require good communication, leadership, analytical and administrative skill.
The incumbent should be able to demonstrate positive attitude and good teamwork skills.
