Job Description

A well-established Ship Repairing Company is looking for a candidate for the position of:

STORE KEEPER
Identify stock items in such a manner as to give full traceability with regard to supplier and order details.
Maintain the stores and materials in storage in such a manner so as to protect from any deterioration. Identify any perishable items and maintain FIFO system of issue. Perform periodic verification of stock material quality and acceptability.
Assist in the periodic stock reviews as required by external auditors.
Inform stores manger of materials with respect to costs, delivery and availability in a timely manner to meet quotation requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS / DEFINED COMPETENCES
5 years relevant experience in store keeping and ware housing in an industrial and technical establishment.
Good educational background. Be fluent in speaking, reading and writing both English and Arabic.
Have good knowledge of the local market, to source material requirements.
Able to operate as part of the team.
