Job Description

In this role as Aircraft Technical Lease Projects Manager will be responsible to plan and manage the timeline deliverables and technical aspects for aircraft End of Lease (EOL) projects. You will ensure all technical audits accomplished, issues and queries are captured and agreed with a solution that supports the EOL commercial plan. You will ensure that all technical issues identified in the pre planning process for EOL projects are resolved with the internal and external stake holders and that there are no open technical issues at the end of the maintenance input that could compromise the technical acceptance of the aircraft.
You will manage the EOL interfaces and deliverables, provide technical solutions and action plans to ensure successful EOL process. You will manage the technical actions and responses, ensuring that all departments are provided with a technical overview. You will lead the EOL projects across QTR business ensuring that each department involved is responsible in delivering according to defined process and project timelines. You will manage the process for the definition, creation and scoping of the EOL work scope content in line with the contractual return conditions. You will support the negotiations with the Lessors during Lease Agreement review / finalisation. You will ensure that all lessors additional work requests are reviewed and fully challenged and once accepted estimate all such additional work requests and present to the line manager for approval. You will manage and control the key EOL project deliverables including technical acceptance and aircraft de-registration.
You will manage the external process and interface with the Lessors representatives ensuring that lease life closure and acceptance of aircraft and the records, in line with EASA / QCAA / FAA regulations. You will ensure that all EOL project technical reviews are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will also ensure that all findings from the technical audits are addressed, closed and measured in line with the defined EOL process.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical or other relevant Engineering disciplines. You must hold ICAO Type II license, held for not less than 8 years. You should have minimum 8 years of job-related experience, including experience in an Airline Engineering / Planning / Technical Records environment and minimum 3 years of experience in management level.
You must have sound knowledge of aircraft and approved data, maintenance concepts, aircraft scheduling and aeronautical regulations (Part-M & Part-145). You must have the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills and the ability to foster teamwork among team members.
