Job Description

Aga Khan Hospital Garden invites applications for the position of Registered Midwife.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
provide safe, competent, individualized nursing care to patients with care needs ranging from basic to complex
impart patient / family education
plan health teaching sessions for patients / families according to their learning need assessment
plans and prioritizes care activities in given assignment as per patient need assessment
performs hands off patients' bedside over, carries out special assignment and document
provides high quality personalized midwifery care to all assigned patients.
plans and prioritizes care activities in given assignment as per patient need assessment
ensure timely, comprehensive and complete nursing documentation as per divisional protocol/standards
any other related task as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
You should have:
diploma in Midwifery from an accredited school of Nursing & Midwifery with at least 1-2 years experience
valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
competence to plan and deliver care to patients with a variety of complex care needs
good communication and interpersonal skills
willingness to work in shift duties.
