Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Cashier.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, which includes:
Record keeping of all cost control entries pertaining to catering services
Prepare and maintain duty rosters and timesheets for cashiers
Maintain cash flow and prepare daily and monthly cash flow summaries for the section.
Maintenance and update all costing of recipes in coordination with section head
Maintain and preparation of all revenue and cost report for main dining hall, catering and food production or any other special functions.
Ensure timely and safe handling and deposit of cash revenue through cashiers and maintain records of the same.
Maintain cashiers daily timesheets and attendance records and submit overtime, leave applications to NFSD office before the 5th of each month.
Maintain non-patient revenue and provide summary of the same to section head on daily/weekly basis
Perform sale history analysis through cash machine itemized PLU transaction audit roll and provide the report to supervisor as and when requested
Supervise the cashier staff and monitor their on job performance.
Maintain timesheets and work plans for cashiers and ensure timely deposit of cash revenue
Maintain and prepare analysis pertaining to cashier, cost control and catering services as and when required
Requirements:
Intermediate, Graduation will be preferred
B.com: 1-2 years of related work experience, Intermediate: 5-6 years of cashiering system experience of institutional food services/Hospital or University cafeteria/Five Star Hotel/Restaurant preferred.
Able to operate cash machine or basic computer terminal.
Good Interpersonal/ Customer Relations Skills.
Good verbal communication skills.
As per department policy the use of Cell phone, Jewelry, ring, ear rings, watches, and chain necklace during working hours is restricted.
