NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Our client is a large and highly reputed energy sector company engaged in the refining, transportation and marketing of petroleum products on a countrywide scale. In order to further reinforce their team, the company is looking to induct a Network Administrator. The position is based at Karachi.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum 4 years Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from HEC Recognized Institution.
Certifications of CCNA, CCNP, Firewall and ITIL will be preferred.
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience of network designing, configuring, installing and administering network operating systems of switches, routers, firewalls, VoIP, video conferencing, wireless LAN and other network devices. The incumbent must be proficient in Open source Technologies related to Network Monitoring & Management, Service Delivery etc. Should have knowledge of Server Operating Systems, like LINUX, Windows 2016 Server and Active Directory etc.
Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for:
Supporting the operations, installation, maintenance, monitoring and modification of LAN/WAN (Switches, Firewalls, Routers & Wireless LAN)
Planning and implementing network expansion to cater to future needs, Maintaining all network related diagrams and documentation according to ISMS guidelines and standards.
Preparing and updating networks and related operational, Failover & Disaster Recovery SOPs and ensuring compliance, applying patches/fixes of network devices to protect internal and external security threats.
Managing network infrastructure and abiding by the strict confidentiality policy of the company.
Age: Should not exceed 35 years.
