Job Description

Aga Khan University was established in 1983 as an international university with an objective to promote human welfare in general, and the welfare of the people in the countries in which it operates, by disseminating knowledge and providing instruction, training, research and service in the health sciences, education and such other branches of learning as the University may determine.
The Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME) is a state-of-the-art centre for teaching and learning with technology, innovation, and simulation pedagogies, techniques and procedures for healthcare students and professionals. It is an important resource for the country and the region.
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Education Analyst in CIME.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Education Advisor, as part of a team you will be expected to assist in the generation, organization and implementation of courses, programmes, workshops and simulation activities within the Centre, extending to our international campuses. You will be responsible to:
contribute to the documentation of CIME workshops and courses in contribution to a repository of such items
contribute to audit of CIME facilities; market research in simulation education and evaluation of CIME courses
use a standardized process, and work with Faculty and the Director, CIME, design and develop courses, workshops and programmes of learning for use in CIME
contribute to the preparation, practice and methods of providing feedback in relation to simulation activities and clinical skills acquisition
assist in the day-to-day administration and operation of the Centres activities in teaching and learning, research and community engagement
assist in research activities such as literature searching; data collection
assist in the organisation and delivery of events and workshops off-campus, and in those AKU campuses internationally that are extensions to CIME
ideate, innovate and create new programmes of learning using the technologies of the centre.

Requirements:
You should have:
an MBBS degree, BDS, BScN or BScM (other healthcare professionals and fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply)
sound academic record and interest in teaching, learning and research
ability to lead and facilitate learning as part of a multidisciplinary team
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
excellent organizational, information management and computer skills.
